Staff Combat Classes (18+)

Service Description

A single group class. 12.20-1.20pm on Saturdays in Tiverton Green, NW6 . No experience is required or expected and staves are provided. Classes are centred around attack and defend drills whilst working in pairs or groups. Beginners use light, foam-covered PVC pipes. There is no sparring or intent to actually hit each other and the risk of injury is relatively low (but the likelihood of accessing flow state is extremely high!). We always start with the basics and work up, I have yet to find anyone who does not have the capacity to start there and improve. If this scares you but you’ve read this far then it means you should seriously consider coming - in the cave you fear, is the treasure you seek! I promise it’s not as scary as you think. Not-for-profit. Once costs are covered any additional income is reinvested into the class or donated to charity.
